Create Happy Media is Aotearoa’s largest youth-operated media outlet, run by and for teens aged 10-24.
We believe in Non-Violent Communication—because we think bringing people together with honest, thoughtful stories is way more powerful than creating division. We publish articles, host workshops, and offer a platform for young journalists to share their perspectives.
Our aim is to grow from a digital magazine into a hybrid print and digital format, so we can connect with even more people. With over 70 journalists and 300 articles, we’re here to make sure youth voices are heard and valued.
